Twilight

So, my name is Will.  I'm 23, and living in NYC, where I work at an advertising agency, producing commercials, by day, and where, by night, I .... FIGHT CRIME! <grin>  No, not really.  I'm no Superman.  By night, you can usually find me either at the gym doing something extremely strenuous that requires much grunting and swearing, or sitting in front of my computer, writing (not much grunting or swearing involved in the latter, there).  So far I've written two novels, TWILIGHT BRILLIANCE and A DIFFERENT TOMORROW, several short stories including "Sage of Angels," and "A Song from Now," a whole mess of poems, and a couple of plays, both for theater and screen.  I'm working on a couple of new projects, SMILE, SCENT OF THUNDER (novels), and "Unkindness," a short story, while trying to get the first two novels published.  It's hard, I'll admit, but, well, to be honest, I love it, and I'll keep doing it until I'm selling best and signing books.  Can't wait. So, about this site: There used to be a lot here, a few samples of my writing, brief synopses of novels, stuff like that, but, well, Homestead's changing their service, and charging for more than three pages.  So, cheap bastard that I am, I've got to figure out a way around the whole paying thing.  Either I'll get something on Geocities, or something, and do up some links, or something, or I'll condense it all here. We'll see.  I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I suggest you read STARDUST, by Neil Gaiman, if you haven't already.  It's great.  And it'll keep you occupied while I sort this out, at least. And a general question: What scares you?  I mean, really, really, truly scares you?  When was the last time you were truly good and scared, the last time you slept with the light on?  When was the last time you worried about whatever is under the bed drooling coming out to play?  Do you still fear things, or are you more worried about bills and credit cards and girlfriends and rents?
